(i) Three geographical conditions for the growth of rice:

(a) It requires high temperature, (above 25'C).

(b) Annual rainfall above 100cm.

(c) High humidity

(ii) It is possible to grow rice in areas of less rainfall with the help of irrigation in Punjab and Haryana.
