Best answer

|A| = 8

A-1 = \(\left(\frac 1{|A|}\right)\) Adj A

C11 = (-1)1+1 (-3 x 1 - (2)(-1)) = - 1

C12 = (-1)1+2 (2 x 1 - (1)(-1)) = - 3

C13 = (-1)1+3 (2 x 2 - (1)(-3)) = 7

and so on..

C23 = (-1)2+3 ( 3 x 2  - 1 x  1)

⇒ C23 = (-1)5 (6 - 1)

⇒  C23 = (-1) (5)

⇒  C23 = -5

X = 1

Y = 2

Z = -1
