Haemophilia Sickle cell anaemia
1. It is due to recessive defective allele present on X – chromosome. 1. It is due to point mutation i.e., a single base pair change leading to a change in an aminoaied.
2.  It is a sex linked ‘disorder. 2. It is a autosomal disoder.
3.  A protein necessary for
clotting of blood is deficient.
3. The defective haemoglobin leads to a change in the shape of RBCs, which become sickle celled.
