a = 3i - 2j +k

b = 2i +j

Now,

A.B = dot product of given vector

(3i - 2j +k) . (2i + j)

= 3i(2i + j) -2j(2i + j) + k(2i + j)

= 6 + 0 - 0 - 2 + 0 + 0

= 6 - 2

= 4
