Best answer

Let f(x) = x3 – 3x2 – 10x + 24

f(x) is divisible by (x – 4)

x2 + x – 6 = x2 + 3x – 2x – 6

= x (x + 3) –2 (x + 3)

= (x – 2)(x + 3)

Other two zeroes of the given polynomial are 2 and –3.
