Consider the situation of the previous problem. If 1.0μC is placed on the upper plate instead of the middle, what will be the potential difference between (a) the upper and the middle plates and (b) the middle and the lower plates ?

Here given,

Capacitance of each capacitor, C = 50μf = 0.05μf

Charge Q = 1μF which is given to upper plate = 0.5μc charge appear on outer and inner side of upper plate and 0.5μc of charge also see on the middle.

(a) Charge of each plate = 0.5μc

Capacitance = 0.5μf
