Liverworts, mosses, and hornworts spend most of their lives as gametophytes. The sporophytes do not have a free-living existence as they grow directly out of the fertilized egg in the archegonia and remain dependent on the parent gametophyte which synthesizes their nutrition by photosynthesis i.e. autotrophic nutrition.

Both d and autotrophic nutrition is correct according to question sporophytes not mentioned clearly.

fern are heart-shaped, some are ribbon-like, strap-shaped or filamentous

mosses are also filamentous
