The correct answer is a

\(\frac{r_1}{r_2}= \sqrt\frac{M_2}{M_1}\\\frac{r_1}{r_2} = \sqrt\frac{2x}{8x}\\\frac{r_1}{r_2}=\sqrt\frac{1}{4}\\\frac{r_1}{r_2}=\frac{1}{2}\)

Hence rate of diffusion of hydrogen is 2 times of  helium (i:e) r2 = 2r1
