  • Average kinetic energy with respect to space = 1/3kA2

The average K.E can be given by:

Hence, average KE with respect to mean position will be

  • Average potential energy with respect to space = 1/6kA2
  • Average kinetic energy with respect to time = 1/4kA2 
  • Average potential energy with respect to time = 1/4kA2.
