Best answer

Let the income be Rs x.

No. of working days 8 20
Income (Rs) 200 x

8/200 = 20/x

By cross-multiplying

8x = 200(20)

8x = 4000

x = 4000/8

= 500

∴ The worker gets Rs 500 if he works for 20 days.
