Best answer

Initial velocity of a racing car, u = 0 (at rest)

acceleration, a = 4 m/s2

time t = 10 s

As per second law of motion

S = ut + \(\frac{1}{2}\)at2

Here S means distance travelled by car after 10s

S = 0 + \(\frac{1}{2}\) x 4 x (10)2

\(\frac{400}{2}\) = 200 m

∴ Distance covered by car after 10s = 200 m
