Mass of packet = 500g
Volume of packet = 350 cm-3
∴ Density of packet = \(\frac{Mass}{Volume}\)
= \(\frac{500}{350}\) = 1.43 gm
∴ ie the density of packet is greater than density of water, so it will sink in water.
Mass of water displaced by the packet = Volume of packet × Density of water = 350 × 1 = 350 gm.
