Find the energy in kwh consumed in 10 hours by four devices of power 500 w each.

Total power p = 500w × 4 = 2000w.
Time, t = 10h
Energy = p × t.
= 2000w × 10h
= 2kwh × 10h = 20kwh.
∴ Energy = 20kwh.
