Solve sin 2x – sin4 x + sin 6x = 0.

Solution: The equation can be written as
sin 6x + sin 2x − sin 4x = 0
or 2 sin 4x cos2x − sin 4x = 0
i.e. sin 4x(2 cos2x − 1) = 0
