With the knowledge of phasor we can say that :

It takes T to complete 2π 

So, in T/12 it traces 2π/12 i.e (π/6)

Let In π/6 it covers x distance

Cos ¢ = x/A

¢=π/2-π/6= π/3 i.e cos¢ =1/2

1/2=x/A

x = A/2....

Sorry  , pradeepta i just read question carefully after your concern it was showing from rest i.e velocity=0 or extreme
Then in that case answer must be
A[1-(√3/2)]....
By applying the same logic but only difference will be in starting position
