Best answer

We have,

Cross section area of pipe = 5 cm2

Speed of water = 30 cm/s

Time = 1 minute = 60 sec

Volume of water flows through pipe = Area of cross section × speed of flow × time

= 5 × 30 × 60

= 9000 cm3

= 9000/1000 = 9 litres

∴ 9 litres of water flows out of pipe.
