The correct answer is d (B and D only)

  • Thiocyanate (also known as rhodanide) is the anion [SCN]. It is the conjugate base of thiocyanic acid. 
  • Common derivatives include the colorless salts potassium thiocyanate and sodium thiocyanate. 
  • Organic compounds containing the functional group SCN are also called thiocyanates.
  • FeSCN2+ With the forward reaction rate increases, more products are produced, and the concentration of  FeSCN2+  will increase [FeSCN]2+↑

You have given the option c as A and B but

The correct option is c (B and D only)

The colorless KSCN solution and nearly colorless Fe(NO3 )3 solution should form a brownish-red product.
