Best answer

L = 4.8m, b = 3.6m , h = 2m

Required area = Area of the floor + L.S.A of cuboid

= lb + 2h(l + b)

= 4.8 × 3.6 + 2 × 2(4.8 + 3.6)

= 17.28 + 33.6 = 50.88 m2

The cost of laying tiles for 1m2 = Rs 100

The cost of laying tiles for 50.88 m2

= 50.88 × 100 = Rs. 5088
