Given Mr Virmani’s salary per month = Rs. 15900

Mr Virmani’s savings = 12% of Rs. 15900

= (12/100) × 15900

= Rs. 1908

Mr Virmani’s monthly expenditure = salary – savings

= Rs. (15900 – 1908)

= Rs. 13992
