ABC is a right angled triangle.

∠ACB = 90°

∴ AB2 = AC2 + BC2 (By pythagoras property)

252 = 72 + BC2

or

BC2 = 252 – 72

= 625 – 49

∴ BC = \(\sqrt{576}\) = 24

∴ BC = 24 cms
