The correct answer is 6.25 x 10-4 S m2 mol-1

We have

\(\kappa=\frac{1}{R}\). Cell Constant

For 0.2 M solution:

1.3Sm-1 = 1/50. Cell Constant

Cell constant = (1.3 x 50)

= 65m-1

For 0.4 M solution:

\(\kappa= \frac{1}{260}\times65\)

= 0.25Sm-1

Now,

\(Λ_m=\frac{\kappa}{Molarity}\)

= 0.25Sm-1/0.4mL-1

= 0.625 S m2 mol-1

= 6.25 x 10-4 S m2 mol-1

Alternative Method
