Given: 1 is one of zeroes of the polynomial ax2 ‒ 3 (a ‒ 1) x ‒ 1 , which means x = 1 will satisfy it.

a(1)2 – 3(a – 1) x 1 – 1 = 0

a – 3a + 3 – 1 = 0

-2a + 2 = 0

a = 1

The value of a is 1.
