Best answer

2x – y + 3 = 0 …………..(1)

3x – 7y + 10 = 0 ………..(2)

Let us use substitution method to solve the given system of equations.

Find the value of y form equation (1) and substitute the value in (2).

From (1)

-y = -3 – 2x

y = 2x + 3

And,

y = 1

Again, y = 2x + 3

1 = 2x + 3

x = -1

Answer: x = -1 and y = 1
