Best answer

Total number of cards in a well-shuffled pack=52

(i) Number of red king cards = 2

P(a red king) = 2/52 = 1/26

(ii)

Number of queen cards = 4

Number of jack cards = 4

Total number of favorable outcomes = 4 + 4 = 8

P(a queen or a jack) = 8/52 = 2/13
