A(2,4)-B(3,8)= A(2,4)

If A and B are two sets, then their difference is given by A - B or B - A.

A - B   means elements of A which are not the elements of B.

As in the question both set A & B are disjoint sets because they have no common elements.

 so
,If A and B are disjoint sets, then  A – B = A  and  B – A = B

A(2,4)-B(3,8)= A(2,4)
