Directing function of management is known as Heart of Management. Directing means moving to action and supplying stimulating power to a group of persons. It helps in optimum utilisation of resources available in the organisation for the attainment of organisational goals with higher success. Inspite of the same resources, the result achieved is different with different managers, this is the art of direction as to how the resources are being directed.
