So we get

AB × DL = AD × BM

By substituting the values in the above equation

10 × 6 = AD × BM

It is given that BM = 8cm

AD × BM = 60 cm²

AD × 8 = 60

By division

AD = 60/8

So we get

AD = 7.5 cm

Therefore, AD = 7.5cm.
