When Najib’s father came to know about his escapade, he went to his wife to break the news. He thought that she would faint on hearing the news. When he reached home, he found her crouching with her back against the mud wall. When she heard the news, she expressed no surprise. Najib’s father knew nothing about it. He was not involved in this planning. And he thought that his wife also did not know about it. But the reality was quite different. She was completely involved in it, but she kept it a secret from her husband. Her husband came to know about it only when he saw that there was no gold bangle in her arm. When he asked her about it, then he could know and guess the fact. Thus the father was not involved in the escapade but the mother was involved in it.
जबे नज़ब के पिता को उसके दु:स्साहसी कार्य के बारे में पता चला तो वे इसके बारे में बताने के लिए अपनी पत्नी के पास गये। उन्होंने सोचा था कि यह खबर सुनकर वह बेहोश हो जाएगी। जब वे घर पहुँचे तो उन्होंने उसे कच्ची दीवार से टिककर ऊकडू बैठी हुई पाया। जब उसने यह खबर सुनी तो उसने कोई प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त नहीं की। नजब के पिताजी को इसके बारे में कुछ भी नहीं पता था। वे इस षड़यंत्र में बिल्कुल भी भागीदार नहीं थे। और उनके विचार से उनकी पत्नी भी इस बात के बारे में नहीं जानती थी। लेकिन वास्तविकता कुछ ओर ही थी। वह इसमें पूरी तरह से शामिल थी लेकिन उसने इस बात को अपने पति से छिपाये रखा। उसके पति को इसके बारे में तब पता चला जब उन्होंने देखा कि उसके हाथ में सोने के कंगन नहीं थे। जब उन्होंने उससे उनके बारे में पूछा तो उन्हें इसके बारे में पता चला। इस प्रकार से पिता इस दु:स्साहसी कार्य में शामिल नहीं था लेकिन उसकी माँ इसमें शामिल थी।
