Best answer

Answer is (C)

2 + (2a + 5ib) = 8 + 10i
⇒ (2 + 2a) + 5bi = 8 + 10i
On comparing
2 + 2a = 8
⇒ 2a =6
⇒ a = 3
and 5b = 10
⇒ b = 2
So, a = 3 and b = 2
