How I Celebrated My Birthday
My birthday is a very important day in my life. After taking the blessings of my parents, I go to the temple to pray to God to give me blessings. Like every year, it was celebrated by my parents on the 10th of March. Many friends and relatives were invited to attend the function. In the evening they all came to my home. I welcomed them all. I cut a big cake. Seventeen candles were lighted as I had turned seventeen. Some of my friends sang and danced. I got a number of presents from my friends and relatives. All the guests enjoyed the feast. Then they took leave. I enjoyed myself very much.
मेरे जीवन में मेरा जन्मदिन अत्यधिक महत्वपूर्ण दिन है। अपने माता-पिता के आर्शीवाद लेने के पश्चात् मैं भगवान से आर्शीवाद लेने मंदिर जाता हूँ। हर साल की भाँति मेरा जन्मदिन 10 मार्च को मेरे माता-पिता द्वारा मनाया गया। इस समारोह में सम्मिलित होने के लिए अनेक मित्र एवं सम्बन्धी आमंत्रित थे। शाम के समय सभी मेरे घर पर आये। मैंने सभी को स्वागत किया । मैंने एक बड़ी केक काटा। सत्रह मोमबत्तियाँ जलाई गर्थी, क्योंकि मैं सत्रह वर्ष का हो गया था। मेरे कुछ मित्रों ने गाने गाये तथा नृत्य किया। मित्रों एवं सम्बन्धियों से मुझे अनेक उपहारे मिले। सभी मेहमानों ने दावत को आनन्द लिया। तत्पश्चात् उन्होंने विदा ली । मुझे बड़ा आनन्द आया।
