Bessi was an unmarried girl. Her father always misbehaved with her and was fully dependent on her. She suffered this all silently. She supported her landlord’s belief. about his son’s return and thus supported him to live. Thus she was a kind, sympathetic and patient girl. She lived her miserable life without any grudges.
