The statement can be proved on the basis of the following points:

1. India is a sovereign state. In other words, India is not subordinated to any foreign power regarding its internal and foreign affairs.

2. Secular state has been established in India. All religions are equal in India. No citizen is discriminated on the basis of religion. There is no official religion in India. It is neutral in matters related to religion.

3. India is a socialist state. Here every citizen of the society has equal right on the means of production and distribution.

4. This is democratic system of government in India because the government is a group of representatives elected by the people of India.

5. According to the India constitution, India is a republic state. In this system, the head of the state or sovereign person (President of India) is not hereditary, but he/she is an elected representative. It means the President of India is elected by the people of India, indirectly.
