4. This is democratic system of government in India because the government is a group of representatives elected by the people of India.
5. According to the India constitution, India is a republic state. In this system, the head of the state or sovereign person (President of India) is not hereditary, but he/she is an elected representative. It means the President of India is elected by the people of India, indirectly.
