Answer is (A) 1/4

Multiples of 4 are = 4, 8, 12, 16,20,24, 28, 32, 36, 40, … etc.

Thus favourable events A = {(1, 3), (3, 1), (4,4), (5, 3), (3,5), (6, 2), (6,6)}

n(A) = 9 and n(S) = 36

Thus, required probability

= n(A)/n(S) = 9/36

= 1/4
