Best answer

The volume of the lifted water
V = 100L = 100 × 10-3 m3
= 0.10m3
The mass of this water
m = Vp = 0.1 × 103 = 102 kg
∴ The total work done by the motor,
W = mgh = 102 × 10 × 20
or W = 2 × 104 J
Since the tine t = 1 min = 60 s
∴ Power of the motor
\(P=\frac{W}{t}=\frac{2 \times 10^{4}}{60}=\frac{1}{3} \times 10^{3}\)
= 0.3333 x 103 watt
or P = 333.3 watt
