Best answer

3/625 = 3/(5 x 5 x 5 x 5) = 3/(54 x 20)

Denominator is of the form of 2m x 5n.

∴ Decimal expansion is ternimating

Represent in the form of decimal

3/625 = (3 x 24)/(54 x 24)

= (3 x 16)/(2 x 5)4 = 48/104 = 0.0048
