Best answer

L.C.M. = (x2 – y2) (x2 + xy + y2

= (x – y)(x + y)(x2 + xy + y2)

and H.C.F. = (x – y)

In L.C.M. and H.C.F.

common factor is (x – y)

First expression

= (x – y) (x + y) = x2 – y2

and second expression

= (x – y) (x2 + xy + y2)

= x3 – x2y + x2y – xy2 + xy2 – y3

= (x3 – y3)

Hence, two expression are (x2 – y2) and (x3 – y3)
