Best answer

Let P(0, 2), A(3, K) and B(K, 5).

According to question point P(0, 2) is equal distance from points A(3, K) and B(K, 5)

squaring both sides

K2 – 4K + 13 = K2 + 9

4K = 13 – 9

4K = 4

K = 1

So, K = 1
