Nylon-66: This is made after condensation of adipic acid (6-carbon) and hexa methylene diamine (6-carbon) and hence is called nylon-66.

Uses of Nylon: 

  • For making gear and bearing in machines. 
  • For making tyre, cloth, fibre, ropes, toothbrush, etc.
