Answer is (C) 7.5 cm

AD = 4 cm

AE = 5 cm

BD = 6 cm

In ∆ABC

BC || DE

∴ AD/BD = AE/CE (By Basic Prop. Theorem)

⇒ 4/6 = 5/CE

⇒ CE = (6 x 5)/4

⇒ CE = 7.5 cm
