It could be seen that the refugees were all from one region, for they wore garments woven out of the same dark blue cotton stuff. The garments were plain and cut in an old fashioned way. The sleeves were long and the coats were long and full. The men wore smocked aprons, the smocking done in curious, intricate and beautiful designs. The women had bands of the same plain blue stuff wrapped like kerchiefs about their heads.
ऐसा देखने में आया कि सभी शरणार्थी एक ही क्षेत्र से थे, क्योंकि उन्होंने समान गहरे नीले रंग के सूती पदार्थ के कपड़े पहने हुए थे। कपड़े सादा तथा पुरानी बनावट में कटे हुए थे। आस्तीनें लम्बी और कोट लम्बे तथा पूरे थे। पुरुष ढीले चोगे जो विचित्र, पेचीदा और सुन्दर बनावट के थे, पहने हुए थे। महिलाओं के सिरों के चारों तरफ उसी सादा कपड़े की ओढ़नी की तरह की पट्टियाँ थीं।
