The Value of Time
Time is very valuable, There is nothing as valuable as time.
Time once lost is lost for ever. Money spent can be earned again. Even more than that can be earned. It is not so with time. Time spent is spent and it is gone for ever. It can never be got back. Almost everything in the world can be purchased, but time lost cannot be purchased.
As each second ticks away, that second moves from the present to the past. If you have not properly used that single second when it was the present, it is a second wasted and it is already lost and merged into the past. No amount of crying or trying can bring you back to the past. It is the time which gives birth to a child, makes him young and then makes him old. It is the time which ends life.
Future is yet to come. How will you use the future, depends on how you are using the present ?
If you want success in life, make proper use of time. Mind the present and make full use of it. It is sure and certain. The present should be used to some advantage.
समय का मूल्य
समय बहुत कीमती है। समय के समान कोई वस्तु मूल्यवान नहीं है।
एक बार समय खो (नष्ट हो) जाता है वह सदैव के लिए खो (नष्ट हो) जाता है। धन जो खर्च किया है, पुनः प्राप्त किया जा सकता है, सम्भवत: ब्याज सहित । किन्तु समय के साथ ऐसा नहीं है। समय जो व्यतीत हो गया वह व्यतीत हो गया और समाप्त हो गया। विश्व में प्रायः प्रत्येक वस्तु खरीदी जा सकती है, किन्तु समय जो खो गया, उसे नहीं खरीदा जा सकता।
जब एक सेकंड व्यतीत हो जाता है, वह सेकंड वर्तमान से भूतकाल में चला जाता है। यदि तुमने उसे सेकंड को जो वर्तमान में था, का उचित उपयोग नहीं किया है तो वह सेकंड बरबाद हो जाता है, वह नष्ट हो जाता है और भूतकाल बन जाता है। कितने भी प्रयास अथवा व्याकुलता, भूतकाल को वापस नहीं ला सकता। यह समय ही है जो बालक को जन्म देता है, उसे युवा व वृद्ध बनाता है। यह समय ही है जो उसे मृत्यु लाता
