Subject - Complaint about poor conditions of drains and roads.

Respected Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to bring to the notice of competent authorities the terrible state of the roads and drains in Darya Ganj.

The roads in our area have not been fixed for the past three years. Accidents caused by pitfalls and breakage happen every day. The repair work done by government agencies is substandard and only lasts a few months.

Many of the roads are not even paved. They are hardly ever swept. Roads are littered with tonnes of trash that has been there for days. The problem is even worse during the monsoons when waste gets lodged in the drains and clogs them. Due to the deteriorated roads and clogged drains, water builds up in the streets, obstructing all traffic and causing numerous injuries and accidents. There is a bad odor coming from the drains. They are never flushed with phenyl and cleansed. As a result, there is a chance that an epidemic may spread quickly. Residents in the region have made many requests to the authorities, but no actual action has been taken.

So, through this letter, I request the concerned authorities to take immediate action to repair the state of the roads and drains, so that no one else encounters any problems when traveling on them in the future. Please take the necessary action as soon as you can.

Thanking you!

Yours truly
Amit

Sub: Bad roads and drains in Gandhi Nagar, Jaipur

Sir,

I want to draw through your newspaper the attention of concerned authorities to the bad condition of the roads and drains in Gandhi Nagar.
The roads are in bad condition. There are pot-holes in them that invite accidents. Drains are mostly choked and the dirty water flows on the roads causing great inconvenience to the people and damaging the roads further.

Cleanliness of the drainages and sewerage should be cared for by authorities timely. Old pipes should be shifted. Sweepers appointed for road cleaning should do their work properly. Quick maintenance should be done.

We expect you to kindly highlight this problem through your prestigious newspaper and oblige.

Thanking you

Yours truly

Prakash Jain
