Tossing the die all possible outcomes

= 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

∴ Total number of all possible outcomes =6

(i) The even digits are 2, 4, 6

∴ The number of favourable outcomes = 3

∴ Required probability = \(\frac { 3 }{ 6 }\) = \(\frac { 1 }{ 2 }\)

(ii) The digits more than 3 are 4, 5, 6

∴ The number of favourable outcomes = 3.

∴ Requred probability = \(\frac { 3 }{ 6 }\) = \(\frac { 1 }{ 2 }\)

(iii) The digit between 3 and 6 are 4 and 5.

∴ The number of favourable outcomes = 2

∴ Required probability = \(\frac { 2 }{ 6 }\) = \(\frac { 1 }{ 3 }\)
