In the given figure, ∠1 = 60° and ∠6 = 120°, show that m and n are parallel.

∠1 = 60° (given)

∠3 = ∠1 = 60°

(vertically opposite angle)

and ∠6 = 120° (given)

∠3 + ∠6 = 60° + 120°

= 180°
i. e. sum of the interior angles on the same side of transversal is 180°.

⇒ m || n.
