We are given that

Mass of dump bell (m) = 10 kg

Initial velocity (u) = 0 Let final velocity be v.

Distance (s) = 80 cm= \(\frac{80}{100}\) = 0.8m

Acceleration (a) = 10 m/s2

From third equation of motion,

v2 = u2 + 2 as

⇒ v2 = 0 + 2 x 10 x 0.8

⇒ v2 = 16

⇒ v = 4m/s

Momentum of dumb bell transformed to the ground = mv

= 10 x 4 = 40 kg m/s
