Best answer

(a) Diameter of the circle = 14.35 cm ..

∴ Length of the side of the square

= 0.707 × 14.35 cm

= 10.14545 = 10.15 cm

(b) Diameter of the circle = 8.63 cm

∴ Length of the side of the square

= 0.707 × 8.63 cm

= 6.10141 cm = 6.10 cm
