tan A = \(\frac { \surd 2-1 }{ 1 } =\frac { Perpendicular }{ Base }\)

Now construct a triangle ABC in which

∠B = 90° and BC : AB = (√2 – 1) : 1

⇒ BC = (√2 – 1 )k, AB = k, 

where k is any constant

Now by using Baudhayana formula
