Best answer

(i) Mean:

i.e, ((n + 1)/2)th = ((15 + 1)/2)th

= 8th term

Median = T8 = 52

Hence, mean of the given data is 54.8.

(ii) Median: Arranging the given data in the ascending order, we have 39, 40, 40, 41, 42, 46, 48, 52, 52, 52, 54, 60, 62, 96, 98

Here, n = 15 which is odd,

so their will be only one median class

(iii) Here, the mark 52 occurred most frequently i.e. 3 times.

Hence, Mode = 52.
