If p/q is a rational number, then q cannot be zero.

A number that can be expressed in the form p/q , where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0, is called a rational number.

'q' cannot be Equal to ZERO.

Because 'q' is in Denominator and if the Denominator is ZERO then the fraction becomes Not Defined.
