Best answer

False

Let’s take 5/6 (first rational) and 15/18 (second rational)

As given both the rationals have different numerators.

Since, 15 and 18 have 3 in common hence,

⇒ 15/18 = 5/6

⇒ 5/6 (second rational) = 5/6 (first rational )

Hence, two rational with different numerators can be equal.
